Ajeer Money is a trading name of Monex International Limited ('we', 'us', 'our'). We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO Registration No: Z8622065) as a data controller.
This policy explains how we use cookies and similar technologies (including local storage) on our website and app, what each of them does, and how you can control them.
The personal data processed through our use of cookies and local storage (such as authentication tokens) is processed on the basis of contractual necessity (Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR) – it is necessary to perform the money transfer service you have requested. 2. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit our website or use our app. They help us recognise you, keep you securely signed in, and make sure your money transfers are processed safely.
Local storage works in a similar way to cookies — it stores data on your device — but unlike cookies it is not automatically sent to our servers with every request. We use local storage to save your session and onboarding progress.
3. What Types of Cookies and Storage We Use
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These are essential for our website and app to work. They keep you signed in, protect your account from unauthorised access, and ensure your money transfers are processed securely. They are always active and cannot be switched off.
Functional Cookies
We do not currently use functional cookies. Your essential preferences are handled by our strictly necessary local storage instead.
Analytical or Performance Cookies
We do not currently use analytical or performance cookies. We do not track your browsing behaviour.
Advertising or Marketing Cookies
We do not use advertising or marketing cookies. We do not share your information with advertising networks, and your activity on our site is never used for ad targeting.
Ajeer Money only uses strictly necessary cookies and local storage — the bare minimum needed to run our money transfer service securely. No tracking, no ads, no analytics.
4. Cookies We Set

This cookie is created after successful login. Prior to login, a temporary version of this token is held in local storage (see section 5) as part of the sign-up flow. Once authenticated, the token moves to a secure HTTP cookie for all subsequent requests.
5. Local Storage We Use
Local storage stays on your device and is not sent to our servers automatically. We use it to keep your session running and to save your progress during sign-up and identity checks.

6. Your Session & Security
We take the following steps to keep your account safe while you use Ajeer Money:
Automatic timeout: If you are inactive for 15 minutes, we log you out automatically. You will receive a warning 1 minute before this happens.
Clean logout: When you log out, or your session expires, all stored data is removed from your device immediately.
Manual logout: You can remove all Ajeer Money data from your device at any time by logging out — this clears everything automatically.
7. Third-Party Services
We use one third-party service that may store data in your browser during the sign-up process:

8. How to Control or Block Cookies
You can choose to block all or some cookies through your browser settings. Please be aware that if you block all cookies — including our essential cookie — you may not be able to sign in or use the Ajeer Money service.
